KZ Pay Software License Agreement

License Grant

Subject to this Software License Agreement, Starlight Group DOO grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use KZ Pay.

This is a license to use the software, not a sale or transfer of ownership.

Product Covered

This agreement covers KZ Pay - Kaspi QR Integration for WooCommerce, including the plugin files, documentation, updates and related product materials provided by Group Starlight.

KZ Pay is independently developed by Group Starlight and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official product of Kaspi.kz.

Single Production Site License

Each KZ Pay license is for one production WooCommerce store unless a different written agreement or plan explicitly states otherwise.

Using one license across multiple production stores is allowed only under a written agreement or with additional licenses.

Development and Localhost Use

Development, staging and localhost use may be allowed where Freemius licensing and the active plan support it.

Production use is limited to the number of production stores allowed by the active license or written agreement.

Ownership

Group Starlight retains ownership of KZ Pay, its source code, documentation, branding, design and related intellectual property.

Third-party trademarks and software remain the property of their respective owners.

Permitted Use

The customer may use KZ Pay to connect a supported WooCommerce store to the merchant's own Kaspi Pay setup for Kaspi QR payments and payment links.

The customer may configure, update and use KZ Pay according to the documentation and active license status.

Restrictions

Except where legally permitted, the customer must not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease or commercially host KZ Pay for third parties.

The customer must not remove ownership notices, bypass licensing, interfere with Freemius checks or use KZ Pay in a way that violates third-party terms.

Redistribution

The customer may not redistribute KZ Pay plugin files, license keys or private download links without written permission from Group Starlight.

Resale and Sublicensing

The customer may not resell, sublicense or transfer KZ Pay access unless Group Starlight gives written permission or the active commercial plan explicitly allows it.

Copies and Backups

The customer may keep reasonable backup copies needed for their own licensed WooCommerce store operation, disaster recovery or deployment workflow.

Backups must not be used to create additional unlicensed production installations.

License Keys

License keys, purchase emails and Freemius account access must be kept confidential.

The customer is responsible for activity under their license and account credentials.

Subscription and License Status

Updates and technical support are available while the subscription is active.

An inactive, cancelled, expired, refunded or terminated subscription may restrict access to downloads, updates, technical support, license validation and premium functionality.

Updates

Group Starlight may provide KZ Pay updates for compatibility, security, maintenance, documentation or product improvements.

Customers should keep WordPress, WooCommerce and KZ Pay updated in a controlled way.

Support

Technical support is available while the subscription is active.

Support does not include creating a Kaspi Pay account, providing Kaspi Pay credentials, guaranteeing Kaspi Pay merchant acceptance or custom development outside the product scope.

Compatibility

KZ Pay depends on supported versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, server extensions, Freemius services and Kaspi Pay / Kaspi QR APIs.

Third-party changes may require KZ Pay updates or may temporarily affect compatibility.

Third-Party Services

Use of KZ Pay may involve third-party services such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Kaspi Pay, Freemius, hosting providers and payment-related systems.

The customer is responsible for complying with applicable third-party terms.

Kaspi Pay Access

The merchant must obtain and maintain their own Kaspi Pay access, Kaspi Pay API key, trade points and compliant account status.

KZ Pay does not provide Kaspi Pay credentials or merchant acceptance.

Security and Credentials

Customers must protect Kaspi Pay API keys, WordPress administrator credentials, hosting credentials, license keys and customer data.

Never send Kaspi Pay API keys, passwords, authentication credentials or full sensitive logs to support.

Termination

This license may end if the subscription expires, is cancelled, is refunded, is terminated for violation of this agreement or otherwise becomes inactive under the applicable Freemius/account status.

Effects of Termination

After termination, the customer must stop using KZ Pay in any way that is not allowed by the remaining license status, applicable law or a separate written agreement.

Group Starlight may disable access to updates, technical support, downloads, license validation or premium functionality after termination.

Disclaimer

KZ Pay is provided for use with supported WooCommerce and Kaspi Pay environments, but no third-party integration can be guaranteed to work without interruption or changes.

Group Starlight does not guarantee that Kaspi Pay, Freemius, WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting providers, payment APIs or customer server environments will remain available, unchanged or compatible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Group Starlight is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, business interruption or losses caused by third-party services, unsupported environments, credential misuse, merchant setup errors or payment-provider decisions.

Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Montenegro, except where mandatory law gives a customer rights that cannot be limited by contract.
